Just wanted to report that
Frank Wilczek held a lecture in quantum and particle physics today at
IRF. I ofcourse, geek as I am, attended.
It was 2.5 hours long and he explained some of the work he have done that got him the Nobel Prize. He also talked about
axions, which he have named,
asymptotic freedom, but also about the results from the particle accelerator at CERN and how to read the results from it and explained everything they know about
dark matter and
dark energy at the moment, which wasn't much.
Too bad I was really tired today, not enough sleep. I accidently deleted a physics laboratory report so I had to rewrite it and fell asleep around 04:30. So some details might not be correct or it might just be my bad memory striking.
Ohh well.. What I really wanted to say is that I got to shake his hand and you can see me standing to the left of him on this picture:
His
wife seems to have a blog too.
